Carly Rae Jepsen Unashamedly Embraces the 80s On Her Newest Track

It's official. Carly Rae Jepsen has gone full 80s synth-pop. And we've got to say; she makes it work. The Canadian pop titan who made "Call Me Maybe" the undisputed song of the summer in 2012 is back with her newest record, Emotion, which is due out in America August 21st aka this Friday. And Carly's shared another single from the new album, "Your Type," and I'm not going to lie. This Chvrches-infused number might be my favorite Carly Rae Jepsen track yet.
