Here's a little something to wake you up. The latest from
Ty Segall is a quick-hitting MC5 punk rock track with a hint of the Beatles called "The Hill." After a somewhat creepy female-acapella intro, Segall's distorted guitar comes in at full force and slams you through the floor. This is nothing new for Segall, who has always been a purveyor of garage, guitar-smashing sound, so "The Hill" is really just another notch in the Segall belt. But boy, this thing is pretty face-melting.
