Bon Iver's Justin Vernon appears to be back in the studio, based on some dark and rowdy Instagram videos (including one reminding you to flush the toilet). It's pretty cool to see just a glimpse of Vernon's creative process, as he's joined with collaborators in a total DIY experimental atmosphere.

Since Bon Iver fans were eager to know the context of these videos, it's a good thing he since clarified that the videos were rehearsals for Marijauana Deathsquads, an experimental noise outfit that consists of Vernon, Poliça's Ryan Olson and others. The collaboration is currently working on a film and music event, in which they'll compose film scores to accompany the Dada films of the 1920s. The event will take place this Friday in Minneapolis and is sure to be enjoyable for any lover of music and film.

While new music from Bon Iver doesn't seem to be in the works just yet, you can catch them on a brief European tour this fall, as well as at David Lynch's Festival of Disruption in Los Angeles.
