Full Moon Festival kicked off its fourth year on Governor's Island adorned with downtown Manhattan's skyline as its backdrop. The eclectic lineup of electronic musicians and up-and-comers included artists such as Panama Wedding
, Young and Sick
, and Son Lux
. The evening was separated between two stages, one adequately named the "Beach Stage", situated right next to the river with beach side cabanas, and a tented area sponsored by Neon Gold Records — whose boss lady, Lizzy Plapinger from MS MR, was in attendance supporting each artist who performed that night.
Aside from the music, there was free face painting at the Yelp! tent; fried chicken in a waffle cone for dinner; and the Matte Shack, where festival attendees could load up on festival gear.
We caught the best acts of the festival, so take a look at our photo diary below!
