In our latest episode of A Day in the Life with The Hives, we learned the boys were working on life-sized bronze statues for their home town of Fagersta, Sweden. Consider our trip to
MakerBot Brooklyn a primer then, of sorts. As you might have seen, The Hives had their beautiful heads scanned and fed through the wires to MakerBot's 3D printer, The Replicator. The fun little gizmo went to work and we were there to capture the process. The time lapse, which took 3 days to finally capture, is so cool we thought we might isolate it for your viewing pleasures. Have a look. If you like what you see you can pick up your own Replicator over at MakerBot.
