Back in May, Father John Misty released a song titled "Real Love Baby" on SoundCloud. Since most of his latest work involved some sort of advertisement campaign or promotional bullshit, it took everyone by surprise. The song, now available in pretty much any streaming platform you can think of, was released because "why not?" as explained by the singer when asked about the track.

Tillman has also claimed that, although everyone loves the song, it will not be part of his yet-to-be-released new album, but instead the track will stand on its own as a single release. The song itself is typical of what we expect from the extravagant sex symbol, though it sounds more as something written by a hopeless romantic. The soft guitar rifts and soulful, distant vocals are representative of Tillman's gentle sound. Lyrically, the song carries the same sincere, heart-felt themes of the tracks from his latest 2015 album I Love You, Honeybear. Here at Baeble, we are thoroughly enjoying the love-filled Father John Misty as opposed to the cynical maniac who ranted about entertainment being evil last weekend at The XPoNential Music Festival.
