Weird Al's Music Videos Are Near Replicas of Their Originals

Weird Al Yankovic and his band are known for their near identical recreations of famous musical numbers, and Al is a reputable stickler when it comes to the English language, but no one has ever given the musician the credit he deserves in the realm of music video creation...until now. After plowing through his viral video campaign #8videos8days, where he unleashed a brand new music video in support of his latest album Mandatory Fun every day for eight days, great attention is being focused on Weird Al's entire catalog of music videos. The fine folks at The Verge were kind enough to compile a side-by-side edit of nine Weird Al videos alongside those made for the song he parodied. Yankovic's incredible attention to detail has been a prominent attribute throughout his 30-year career in music. Here's an even better look at the near-identical recreation of Michael Jackson's "Bad" in "Fat":
