When Phantogram wanted to make a remix of their Voices track "Never Going Home" for the Walking Dead soundtrack, they called upon alt-J drummer Thom Green to make the song appropriate for a zombie apocalypse. Green keeps the original bass reminiscent of a heartbeat in the track, but he overlays a more ominous sound by adding in sinister strings and a heavier distortion to match the decay occurring on the hit television show. Check out the remix below, and get a copy of Songs of Survival Vol. 2 featuring an odd concoction of music from bands like The Lumineers, Crooked Fingers and Godsmack exclusively at Walmart.
