Did you know that Olympic table tennis will have introductory music? Yup. And it's looking like UK electro-popsters Hot Chip will be responsible for scoring said music. Can you imagine a more appropriate band to affiliate with the plunky back and forth of table tennis? ACE! Also, this is just another example of the Olympic planning committee taking advantage of England's deep musical resources, as Hot Chip joins the Chemical Brothers, Muse, The Clash, and Blur among others in contributing to the soundtrack of The Games.

In other Hot Chip news, the the band's next single from In Our Heads is "How Do You Do?" and they've released a music video for it. It's a combination of lo-fi skater footage and an example of what happens when you give a bunch of funny guys access to a green screen.
