Like crop circles, and oil stains of religious figures, there's something cryptic about discovering a hidden track on an album. Especially for the multitudes of Nirvana fans who discovered "Endless Nameless" 20 years ago when listening to Nevermind. Approaching two decades after the release of the paramount album, Spin has embarked on a quest to assemble various musicians to recreate the album, hidden track and all, as a form of tribute. Not surprisingly, EMA has been appointed with the task of rendering her own version of the illusive "Endless Nameless".

EMA debuted her patented fuzz-rock with Past Life Martyred Saints earlier this summer. Her lo-fi warmth and punk-prim designated her the most viable candidate to cover one of the noisiest Nirvana tracks ever recorded. She has a considerable margin for error with this one since the track never piqued the level of reverence that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" or "Lithium" did. Based on what she's shown us, she probably never needed it. EMA captures the essence of punk with firm resolve, while making the track entirely her own.
