Don't sleep on Nick Hakim. D.C. raised, Hakim resides in Brooklyn, and when you hear his music you won't be surprised that he was raised in musically rich hoods, listening to music ranging from soul to hip-hop, go-go to folk, and more. This guitar-toting singer will draw you into his world with his custom blend of soul, and his pensive lyrics about love lost.

Hakim's music has a way of resonating with your spirit, sending tingles all over your body. This sultry crooner speaks to the broken hearted in deep, raspy, hymn-like harmonies. His debut EP, Where Will We Go Pt. 1 is a 5 track intro to the artist. The first full track "Cold" is an R&B ballad, with an old-timey blues feel in which Hakim takes us to "Chuuch". His second track, "The Light" is like a hazy dream of forgotten memories that make a dark, yet beautiful tune.

We're anxiously waiting for any new releases leading to WWWG Pt. 2, but while we do, listen to the first two tracks off WWWG Pt. 1 below:
