Cartoon collaborators
Gorillaz, riding high off the success of
Plastic Beach, have announced a worldwide tour that includes a date at NYC's own Madison Square Garden. Apparently, the band is a spectacle to behold live so get on those tickets before they sell out. In the lead-up to the tour, Albarn and co. have released a trailer featuring approximately twenty other people performing with special guests like
Mos Def and video projections of
Snoop Dogg. It looks suitably grandiose. Dates and trailer below.
I haven't seen a trailer for a tour since the Star Wars in Concert series! These are exciting times, indeed. -
