Why does every artist have to drop their album on the same day? For us listeners, it's a challenge to catch up with every new release, especially when it's several different releases from all really exciting artists. So to cut through the noise and make sure you have all of your ducks in a row, we're briefly rounding up the most important albums to listen to this week.
1. Foster the People
- Sacred Hearts Club
Maybe you've only really listened Torches
back in 2011 (which was straight fire, see what I did there), but this new album is certainly worth the listen. This album has been highly anticipated since 2014's Supermodel
. The album is out through Columbia Records and some songs you need to hear are "Sit Next To Me" and "I Love My Friends."
2. Lana Del Rey
- Lust For Life
Lana Del Rey has dropped her latest album since 2015's Honeymoon
. Released via Interscope records, the record features A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks, and more. Tracks listen to are "Groupie Love" and "Coachella – Woodstock In My Mind."
3. Tyler the Creator
- Flower Boy
Yes! Tyler the Creator is out with his new album Flower Boy
and I don't think anyone was more excited than Tyler himself (according to his recent tweets
). This is the rapper's 4th album and fully written and produced by Tyler himself, released through Columbia Records. Songs to listen to are "Boredom," "Garden Shed," and "911/Mr. Lonely."
4. Nine Inch Nails
- Add Violence
Nine Inch Nails is back with their first project since 2014's Recoiled
. This EP is out through The Null Corporation and some highlight tracks are "Less Than" and "This Isn't The Place."
