James Corden on the Late Late Show has put out a lot of really great Carpool Karaoke sessions that have gone viral -- Adele, Selena Gomez, and Jennifer Lopez have all had really fun episodes. But I don't know how anything is going to be able to surpass his most recent session with the First Lady, Michelle Obama.
The two rocked out to Stevie Wonder and Beyonce, talked about what Michelle plans on stealing from the White House when she leaves, and whether she'll miss being able to call down for grilled cheese at 3 AM. Turns out the First Lady is less concerned about losing 24/7 room service and more excited for her Let Girls Learn initiative -- to give education to the 62 million girls in impoverished countries who would do anything to go to school.
The two were also joined by a surprise guest in the backseat, Missy Elliott! She and Mrs. Obama debuted the song "This Is For My Girls" featuring Kelly Rowland, Lea Michele, Zendaya, Kelly Clarkson, and Jadagrace, Janelle Monae, and Chloe & Halle by belting it in the car with Corden. The song is in support of Let Girls Learn on top of being a super catchy "girl power" anthem.
That was followed by a throwback with the three rapping "Get Ur Freak On" -- the First Lady knows her Missy Elliott lyrics! In the end, it looks like Michelle Obama finally got to jam out to music in the passenger seat for the first time since teaching Malia to drive, but Corden never actually got that 1:45 tour of the White House. "I could have given you some more facts and figures but the singing got in our way," she said.
Basically, if you were able to watch through this video without a big stupid smile plastered on your face, then are you even human? You can watch the video above, and listen to "This Is For My Girls" out now on iTunes!
