Erika M. Anderson, one former half of the now defunct drone-folk duo Gowns, has been recording under an obvious acronym for her solo project, more of her odd take on folk and alternative rock. However, stripped apart from her grit-soaked album sound, EMA stopped by the Guest Apartment to strum a few tunes off her debut Past Life Martyred Saints in the olden folk style. Sporting her signature necklace, EMA spared no expense in translating her sonic adventures into a quieter setting, a fresh look at the tunes we came to know and love this past May. Check out some photos below and stay tuned for the full video.
