Good Old War Give A Much Needed Dose Of Clowns

Personally, I love clowns. I think that if you can make it in the competitive world that is clowning, you're living the dream. Act like a kid all day, dress like a goon, and make some sweet balloon animals whats not to love? That being said, I can completely understand why coulrophobia is one of the most common fears out there. Thanks to how abrasive some clowns can be and some wonderful works like Stephen King's It, a particular hatred for clowns can be expected. Considering their new video for "Tell Me What You Want From Me," It seems as if Good Old War falls into this group of red-nose haters.

The video for the track off of their 2015 Album Broken Into Better Shape will keep you smiling regardless of your affiliation to the clown community. The upbeat, lighthearted track is enough by itself to brighten your day, but pairing a couple of clowns along with it seals the deal. Blowing up each clown with a laser beam in front of a crowd of kids is also credible for some laughs here, too. Watching a posse of wigs and colorful overalls get picked off one by one while running away is something I'm glad I got to see. Even if it's all just part of a Clown Zap video game, it's just one of those crazy images deep in the back of your mind that's surprisingly gratifying to see.
