After the smash success of the last Cutty Sark showcase we were able to attend at Brooklyn Bowl
, we were primed for the second of those evenings. And once again, Cutty Sark and the bands they brought to bear at that storied Williamsburg venue didn't disappoint. Unlike the first showcase, we shot concert footage for the entire evening, and I don't want to spoil too much of the proceedings. But needless to say, the performances from Eternal Summers
, Small Black
, and Widowspeak
were a visceral delight. Between Eternal Summer's sharp, aggressive noise-pop, Eternal Summer's chillwave soundscapes, and the sonic experimentation of Widowspeak, we'll have a little something for every indie lover in your life in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for those sessions in the weeks ahead but until then, let some of our photos from the evening hold you over.
Also, be sure to pick up tickets for the next Cutty Sark showcase featuring Sean Lennon's band, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, here
. The show is Wednesday so grab your tickets while you still can.
