Over the weekend, Alex Turners side project, The Last Shadow Puppets, invited renowned guitar legend, Johnny Marr on stage to play "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" by The Smiths at their concert in Manchester.



The slow crooner off the Smiths' last studio album, Strangeways Here We Come, was a perfect fit for Alex Turner's brooding and dramatic vocal style he's adopted the past few years, and it was a joy for Smiths fans everywhere to see Marr perform a classic from his former band. Watch the performance above, along with a memorable cover of the Fall's "Totally Wired" below.
