It's been more than a decade since O.A.R. (of a revolution) earned its reputation as a prolific song-writing rock band. The last time we heard anything new from them was in 2008, when their single "Shattered", off All Sides, was going platinum. Since then, the crew has migrated between the various band members' hometowns to keep the live-inspired luster of O.A.R breathing. What they've come up with is a 21-track Deluxe version (16 track standard version), King featuring a brand new single: "Heaven".

King is a concept album that endorses journeys over destinations: an appropriate motif for a band that spends most of its time on the road. The title track "Heaven" wraps the concept together, more or less directly stating the theme. Even though this one is acoustic, we can already hear it ringing through a stadium over capacity, with its ethereal choirs, airy finger picking, yet very down-to-earth lyrics. Listen to the acoustic version of "Heaven" below, and pre-order the album here.
