Deerhunter have announced plans to release their fourth full length entitled
Halcyon Digest on September 28th via 4AD. And they're asking for your help.
As sort of a DIY street team, the band wants fans to download the homemade poster on their
website, print it, photocopy it, and put it up everywhere. Here's where you can get creative with it: hang it in your bedroom, your office, the local record store, venues, wherever. Send your efforts to flyers@halcyondigest.com and you'll be rewarded handsomely: a link to the album's first single and a non-album cut. Sounds interesting and a really inventive idea for a viral marketing campaign that actually involves fans. So go get posting! -
