Neon Indian's Alan Palomo wanders all tormented-like through a colorful haunted house where an old man plays backgammon with his identical twin, sleeping girls' spirits leave their bodies, and smoke drifts out of every landscape and object imaginable in his new video for "Sleep Paralysist".
The hokiness of the horror theme is a perfect fit for Palomo's brand of lo-fi synthpop and the array of horses, chairs, and other random items that populate the video ensure that there's never a dull moment. So as one anonymous YouTube commenter so aptly puts it: "RIDE THE CHILL WAVE YALL". -
