"Old Boy" will hook you from the get go...that's what drum intros this infectious are for. What follows is a high energy mix between Hot Hot Heat and The Strokes by a promising new band dubbed Brick + Mortar. With only an EP to their name, the duo should definitely be kept on your radar. Their sound is high energy and slightly blown out...we're thinking the band's jams might be perfect for delivering a great summer soundtrack. "Old Boy" is not on their current EP, although they just announced the release of a 7" vinyl single through Drexel University's "Mad Dragon Records" (MDR). Should be plenty from this band down the road to get your hands on.
