"When you start a band, do you imagine how it will end?"
That's the unifying theme of the
LCD Soundsystem documentary,
Shut Up and Play the Hits, which focuses on the events surrounding the band's final show at Madison Square Garden. The documentary is now coming to
select theaters across the U.S. for "one-night-only engagements" (what's up with James Murphy and finality?) on 7/18. Fans will also have a chance to "demand" screenings in their areas via
Eventful. Tickets for the scheduled screenings go on sale at select theaters on 6/8.
