The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney joined Sleater-Kinney/Portlandia's Carrie Brownstein for an hour-long chat on the latest podcast from The Talkhouse, an artist-to-artist forum for critique. With one hell of an NPR-worthy voice, Brownstein asked about his negative perception of modern music media, being stifled by social media, and the reality of having a number one record. He condemns the criticism of Pitchfork, an outrageous article by Forbes, and douches from Death and Taxes — it's totally worth a listen. The Black Keys' Turn Blue is out now.
