Stephen Colbert featured Talib Kweli on The Colbert Report last night as part of his "Dr Pepper Presents StePhest Colbchella '011: Rock You Like a Thirst-icane." After enduring several racial jabs, Kweli gave Colbert a revised definition of rap, pairing it with folk music and at one point saying that rap is "more folk music than folk music actually is." It might be crazy enough to be entirely true. Hear this along with live performances of "Cold Rain" off Gutter Rainbows and "Get By" below.

Afterwords, check out Colbert's sit-down with Jack White. White's stone face and lack of enthusiasm is an odd match for Colbert's irritating demeanor. Nevertheless, the nine-time Grammy winner has agreed to help Colbert produce some music with The Black Belles. The song will be featured on tonight's episode of The Colbert Report.
