After side booking another tour with Rage Against The Machine/Public Enemy supergroup, Prophets of Rage, AWOLNATION have pulled out of their remaining tour dates as the supporting band for Death From Above 1979.

With 16 dates remaining, Death From Above 1979 was forced to cancel the rest of their tour and released the following emoji emblazoned statement on Facebook:

On Monday, Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION released a video on Facebook announcing the change of plans, stating that he, "couldn't be more excited to join a band that has meant so much to me in my life."

Bruno is yet to address how the decision affected Death From Above 1979's tour, but let's call a spade a spade here, people, a once in a lifetime opportunity arose, and they grabbed it by the balls like the unapologetically, self-serving animals you need to be to get ahead in this business, god bless their hearts.

On a lighter note, Death From Above 1979 will resume touring the US this October, so not all is lost.
