Foxygen drummer Shaun Fleming chose to highlight his favorite song of summer by covering The Beach Boys' 1988 classic "Kokomo" through his musical alter-ego Diane Coffee. As Brooklyn Vegan pointed out, today is Brian Wilson's 79th birthday, so it could be a gift to the mad genius. But it would be a strange gift considering Wilson had no role in this song's production.
