For those who haven't seen the new Seth Rogen bro-medy This Is The End, this may come as a mild spoiler - Michael Cera plays a coked-up asshole and he does so brilliantly. According to a trailer for his new indie flick, Crystal Fairy, Cera is sticking to illegal substance hungry characters, but this time it's leaning more towards the psychoactive.

The film follows a group of friends who are traveling in Chile in pursuit of an illusive hallucinogenic drug called the San Pedro cactus. On the way, they pick up over-the-top eccentric Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffman).

Nothing hooks our attention to a film trailer like a solid soundtrack, and Crystal Fairy goes above and beyond with theirs. Featuring songs like Manu Chao's "King of the Bongo" and closing with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' "Man On Fire" from their sophomore record Here.

Crystal Fairy is scheduled to hit theaters July 12th.
