new ed harcourt dates

Coming off a performance on Jay Leno (see below), Ed Harcourt is prepping for a US tour. For those of you not familiar with the whimsical singer-songwriter from Sussex, see his October 2007 release, Until Tomorrow Then: the Best of Ed Harcourt (it's a retrospective, he's been around for seven years or so in the UK). Or check out his new album, The Beautiful Lie, out in the US now.

We hear you: seven years!? How have I missed him? We'll jog your memory. Ed has opened for numerous notables, including R.E.M., Snow Patrol, and Wilco. And his music is a little bit of each, leaning toward the latter. A multi-instrumentalist, he is an extremely versatile musician, and it shows in his music. His most recent association is opening for The Gutter Twins, with whom he is touring come July. Catch him when he rolls through your town.
