Listen up, kids -- serial charmer, The Dirty Projectors released this gem, "Dance for You" last week. After blazing onto the indie rock scene in 2009 with Bitte Orca, the quirky experimental brainiacs are gearing up for the July 10th release of Swing Lo Magellan. This is the second advance track to be released, and "tease" doesn't quite encapsulate its tantalizing effect.

The song is joyful and fun, but it's as whip smart as anything The Dirty Projectors have made. It combines sounds like hand clapping and a full orchestra, and still manages to sound effortless. I'd say they're showing off if it didn't all sound so easy.
