So I Ate Myself, Bite by Bite is a narrative that unravels the saga of a serial killer. While I'm told to anticipate "dark" and "nightmarish" folk, the single that's out is definitely on the cheery end of what you'd expect given the album's title, with childlike singing over a foundation of beautiful banjo work. Graveface values the physical presentation of an album as well as the music itself, so the LP version of
