Aaron Rodgers, quarterback of Super Bowl champs the Green Bay Packers, is using his free time during the NFL lockout to kickstart his career in the music industry. Although he won't be spitting rhymes like the '85 Bears, he is starting his own record label, Suspended Sunrise Recordings.
Rodgers has been collaborating with the group, The Make, who are fellow residents of his hometown, Chicago. Consisting of Jeff Schneeweis and Trevor Sellers (Number One Gun) and Sarah Ann (See You Again), the NFL superstar is said to appear in their upcoming music video, "Get It".
His number one priority is certainly slingin' the deep ball to Jennings and Driver, but the self-taught guitarist lists music as his second passion.
"This is the first step in the process," Rodgers told California television station KRCR. "My business partner and I have been working for a couple of years trying to put this whole thing together. We're excited about starting the process, to see what happens with this band."
