Hayden has been around since the 1990's, releasing his first LP in 95. After years of touring and recording, the new record is another stepping stone for Hayden, whose sound has evolved over time through many eclectic genres, including alt-country and even grunge rock. Perhaps his varied tastes were instilled upon him at a young age by his professor-turned-visual-artist father. Don't worry, the music isn't about parasitology (his father's preoccupation). The new one is peppered with lyrical sweet nothings, and preoccupied with a relationship gone sour (between humans). If you find yourself sympathizing, or just feel like being in that mood, pick it up. Or you could spend some time looking at his
