The Drum Duel That Never Dies

Will Ferrell proved to have the necessary skills to win a Jimmy Fallon traditional drum off; a little bit of fame, and some faked killer drum rhythms. Ferrell championed his drummer doppleganger, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, in the duel on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, but was not fully satisfied with this victory. On June 10th, Ferrell told SPIN that he and Smith were seeking a third competitor for their next drum off, particularly the pair's other close lookalike, Metallica's Lars Ulrich. Ulrich released an acceptance statement to SPIN, claiming that he is up for the challenge. With the date and time to still be determined, let the rock 'n' roll games begin. Check out Ferrell and Smith's initial drum off below.
