It's no secret I have a soft spot for the musically and stylistically eccentric Detroit duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., especially after recently interviewing and seeing them live at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Last night on Conan, Daniel and Josh glitzed up the stage with their gleeful brand of indie pop, with two new songs - "If You Didn't See Me [Then You Weren't On The Dancefloor]" and "War Zone" off their recently released EP Patterns. "War Zone" is a pretty impressive tune as it infuses that Motown sound the Detroit boys have long praised, especially when Joshua arms himself with that sweet ass sax.
