Mash-up prince
Greg Gillis, better known as
Girl Talk, is sampling more than just sound clips for his upcoming release
Feed the Animals. He is sampling business models too, specifically the pay-what-you-want price tag that many have tried and
Radiohead made infamous. The album will be available on the
Illegal Art website in the near future.
The follow up to
Night Ripper supposedly dwells longer on certain songs, rather than jumping from track to track like a DJ with ADD. We rather like the quick pace of the last record, so we're interested to see what Gillis, a modern icon for remixing, has up his sleeve. -
