The New Orleans rapper is not exactly known for his acoustic sets and he'll be the first televised rap unplugged concert since Jay-Z's 2001 special. With Lil Wayne's upcoming and much-awaited ninth studio album
Tha Carter IV out in August and his talent for blending genres and pushing boundaries, it makes sense that MTV would choose to do a special on him.
