Lightspeed Champion favors sensitive, country kissed acoustics over the outrageous, dance driven dramatics of his last band. Apparently though, everyone knows SXSW hates people with acoustic guitars (his words). So for this performance from the
Domino Records Showcase, Lightspeed packs both an axe and his Star Wars blazoned acoustic. The result, though, is still the same deliciously, hooky, Middle American folk weve come to expect from Lightspeed.
