The xx announced that they will release their much anticipated sophomore album on September 11 in the US and September 10th abroad. They're calling the new album Coexist and as a treat the band has already released a demo of one of their new songs. The track, "Open Eye," (available via the band's YouTube) is a promising hint of what is to come.
