It looks like Donald Glover's rap alter-ego Childish Gambino doesn't intend on slowing down any time soon (as if he knew how to slow down). Luckily for fans, the dynamic triple threat recently recorded with 90s indie legend Beck and released to the world "Silk Pillow." True to Gambino form, the track is not only incredibly distinct from what is out in the industry right now, but it stands out from his already diverse track history. With syncopated drum beats and a floating piano melody, "Silk Pillow" is a much softer track than many might expect. The affliction in his lyrics accompany the beat with the impeccable flow you'd expect from any Gambino track. I think Glover said it best with his lyrics, "Trust in Gambino/He has never failed us" and this track is no different.
