"If you tell the truth, truth never go out of style." Those are the fine words of soul legend Bobby Womack straight from his documentary that gives a behind the scenes look at what the process of creating his (drum roll please) 27th studio album The Bravest Man In The Universe was. He admits that he felt insecure about making music again, but producers Damon Albarn and Richard Russel assured him that he still had it in him. Beyond the new album and self-titled first single, Bobby's bout with pneumonia earlier this year and colon cancer treatment prove why he is truly "The Bravest Man In The Universe"-- at 68 in a difficult time of his life, he's putting out music that'll undoubtedly influence a new generation and please his older fans.

The Bravest Man In The Universe will be his first album of all-original material since 1994's Resurrection.
