Our intrepid reporters ventured to the shores of New Jersey to cover Bamboozle, our favorite wet dog makes an appearance (kind of) on The Simpsons, and a certain infamously short singer takes a stand against Arizona (irony!). Avoid those abandoned vans in Midtown Manhattan, and let's talk about news.
Bamboozle. We sent Hanna Kasper backstage to capture the action at the multi-day festival, which took place at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. She conducted numerous band interviews, and from the footage we've seen, encountered all kinds of oddities, including little kids moshing and a notable yet sloppy appearance from Willy Wonka. Check back tomorrow for the full scoop.
"Tik Tok" opened up this week's Simpsons. Something inside me tells me this would have been funnier a few months ago, but it's still pretty funny, and doesn't actually have a Ke$ha in it. Bonus!
Shakira went to Arizona to protest their new illegal immigration laws. "If this law was already in effect today, for example, I could be detained and arrested and taken away because I don't even have my driver's license here. I'm completely undocumented here". [via The Daily Swarm]
It's going to be a great week! May is here and all of a sudden it's hotter than Eminem's temper!
