It's been about three years since we last received new music from The Strokes, and now they have surprised us with a new EP, Future Present Past.

Before deciding to drop the whole EP, they teased us with one track, "OBLIVIUS." It starts off with a groovy feel and then in the chorus they blast into their familiar sound. It has a bit of a retro, lo-fi sound, as if they're playing on a radio in the distance. Regarding the release, the timing is perfect, as everyone in New York is revisiting the band's discography in preparation for their headlining set at Governor's Ball next weekend. Thanks for getting us even more excited, Julian Casablancas!
