Melbourne's Husky Shoot an 'Arrow' Off Their Forthcoming LP Ruckers Hill

Alt rockers Husky from Melbourne, Australia begin "Arrow" with tribal drums and dreamy guitars, which sets the tone for Husky Gawenda's elegant and whimsical vocals. The song builds deliberately, with the guitars and harmonized vocals trading off, and hitting a stride about two minutes in with a hook-driven chorus that drives the song and culminates with the lines "Never know when it's coming/ It's coming for you." The song is reminiscent of The Dodos, but with less emphasis on the drums and more emphasis on spidery guitar lines that wind through the song. Check out "Arrow" off of Ruckers Hill out on June 2.
