Bono's back surgery, which we
mentioned yesterday without making any bad puns, has really taken a toll on
U2's summer plans. The band has been forced to cancel their slot at Glastonbury, and they'e rescheduled 16 stadium shows. See the complete list after the jump.
According to the U2 site, Dr Muller Wohlfahrt confirmed: "Bono suffered severe compression of the sciatic nerve. On review of his MRI scan, [Dr. Wohlfahrt] realized there was a serious tear in the ligament and a herniated disc, and that conservative treatment would not suffice. [He] recommended Bono have emergency spine surgery".
Doctors are hoping for a speedy recovery.
