Reptar may not be the Rembrandt of modern music, but they're a hell of a good time. Their album Body Faucet fared well in the writers room and for good reason-- our footage of them had us nonplussed at the enthusiasm of a bunch of kids having, potentially, more fun on stage than we've seen in a long time. It's hard to imagine a band like this appealing to frat kids, particularly due to their weird disposition-- it's a band that's just doing what they want, how they want, and it's wonderfully honest in its delivery. Since when did "gravitas" become so important to any kind of music not meant for the concert hall?

All we're saying is, really Pitchfork? Does this look like a 3.0 to you?
