Although some fun activities like recreational drug use are still illegal in the majority of the United States, at least we can still sing and dance...right? This wouldn't be the case if we were citizens of the anti-Footloose nation of Iran, where six individuals — three men and three women — were put behind bars after making their own parody of Pharrell's "Happy" music video.
Tehran Police Chief Hossein Sajedinia (aka Reverend Shaw Moore, aka John Lithgow) ordered the arrest claiming they created an "obscene video clip that offended the public morals and was released in cyberspace."
The following clip of interrogations was aired on Iranian state TV, where they apparently utilize the age-old point the camera at the backs of their heads so we can over-dub their voices trick...
