There seems to be quite a bit of buzz surrounding the musical project of Katie Crutchfield, called Waxahatchee, and for good reason as it satiates our cravings for anything garage-centric. Recently, Katie teamed up with her twin sister Alison of Swearin' to produce a charming cover of Grimes' indie pop hit "Oblivion". This particular song's music video won our 2012 poll as the best of the year, and there have been copious amounts of covers spewed out over the past 12 months, but the Crutchfield's sample stands tall as the most endearing to date.

The song was recorded for Rookie magazine, an online editorial site for teenage girls, but this 25-year-old dude can't get enough of it.
