See Villagers Sooth Through 'The Waves' in Donegal

Back in 2010, we took Villagers frontman Conor O'Brien down to the Creative Little Garden in the East Village for a lovely summer acoustic session in support of the release of his band's debut Becoming a Jackal. Today, the Dublin-based group shared their most recent exposure to the lens in a studio session shot at Attica Audio in Donegal, Ireland. The performance of "The Waves", a track off their 2013 sophomore release Awayland, is certainly more technically jolting than our tranquilizing outdoor sesh, but O'Brien's voice retains its calming tone making the twinkling synth all the more alluring.

Watch our session with Conor below.
