Stream "Boxer", from their new LP
American Slang, on the band's
Myspace. The new album, produced by Ted Hutt (who produced the band's last record, #2 in our
top albums of 2008 you may recall) is due out in a few weeks, and is said to advance and update their sound. Perhaps they will now be called Electriclight Anthem. Perhaps I will be shot for that joke.
The band is playing a sold-out album release in New York City at The Filmore, with special guests Rival Schools and Tim Barry (Avail). From there they will embark on a nation-wide tour. Catch them at Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, or one of their many stops along the way.
American Slang is out 6/15. -
